I want to write a very strong letter of recommendation for Dr Caroline Rydmarker from Sweden. Dr Caroline Rydmarker was working as Consultant General Surgeon at the new TreeTop Hospital. Dr Caroline Rydmarker started in the pioneering group of medical doctors here at TreeTop Hospital. She was heavily involved in organizing the pre-opening of general surgery services and was the driving force in setting up and starting her Department. It was her initiative to organize an effective operation room management program and waiting list. Dr Caroline Rydmarker realized and guaranteed the organizing of a smooth and reliable diagnostic and therapeutic service in general surgery, teached and educated our young Maldivean doctors, organized a smooth patient flow without any problems or complications and made life easy for the other consultants working together with her. We cannot speak highly enough of her professional competence and manner. Caroline Rydmarker is an extremely experienced and skilled surgery consultant. She is self-motivating and sets a high standard for herself and those who work with her. Under her driving force the Department implemented comprehensive management protocols addressing a wide range of clinical topics such as risk assessment and patient safety, fast-track management as well as efficient patient management in critical situations.
